Free showings of Selena and Bohemian Rhapsody on the Big Screen!
Chicago, Sept. 6 - Even though summer is about to wrap up, it’s good to list the urgency of catching some of the final events happening in Chicago for warm temperatures before the season starts to transition to the fall. With a blanket, food, as well as a friend, it’s a great way to spend a Wednesday night. As of September, the final movies that can be viewed are:
September 14: Selena
September 21: Bohemian Rhapsody
Both movies are not to be missed. This weekly event is free, but VIP seats on the stands can be purchased for $30 per person. Food and concessions can be purchased on the field, or one can get their food near the many restaurants near the movie viewing area as well.
“Gallagher Way teams up with a local favorite, Music Box Theatre, to hand-select a schedule of nostalgic, free, outdoor movies that runs from May to the end of September”. What started on May 11, people were able to view the movies out in a fresh backyard area. Gallagher’s venue which surrounds the Wrigley Field is located at 3635 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60613. The gates are open for entry at 6:00 PM, and these final weekly movies begin at 7:30 PM.

About Music Box Theatre
The Music Box Theatre was started in 1929 and still has its original architecture. From the dark blue ceiling creating “twinkling stars” to the moving clouds as if showing a night sky truly makes the viewer feel like they're out in refreshing air while watching their favorite movies.
